What changed from the Rochen One Shared checkout
| Band | Shared today | Dedicated pool |
|---|---|---|
| Domain Configuration | register / transfer / keep | removed: a pool is a server, not a site. Its name is generated under directrouter.com |
| App Install or Site Transfer | CMS tiles | removed; sites are added to the pool afterwards from "Create Site" |
| Server Resources | Tier 1–8 carousel | Template carousel, one card per Templates sub-option, facts from dedicated_templates, monthly ÷ 744 shown hourly |
| SSD Capacity | 1–1000 GB slider, tiered | SSD Storage 100–1100 GB slider at the same Rochen One tier rates, plus IOPS and throughput steppers with the gp3 baseline included |
| Region | flag buttons, closest pre-selected | same buttons, first because compute prices depend on it; the hostname is generated (adjective-noun.directrouter.com) and only shown |
| — | — | Included Software is new and informational: what is included and how the licence size follows the template and site count. Nothing to choose. |
| Billing details / payment | profile form + Stripe fields | unchanged component; a card is required because the pool deploys on order |
| Confirmation | Billed Now (domain) · Usage Billed Later | Billed Now is always empty; Usage Billed Later lists compute, storage, extras, and states that sites and software are free |
| Footer | "Create Site" | "Create Pool" |

No invoice is created: nothing is charged in advance. The API refuses the order without a stored card or with overdue invoices on the account, generates a unique adjective-noun label from its word lists and stores for example signal-fox.directrouter.com as the service's domain and hostname. The product endpoint that feeds this page: GET /v1/product/464?region=498.
Adding a site to the pool
Once the pool is active, the "Create Site" menu on the Hosting page lists Rochen One (shared, pay as you go) and every pool the client owns, the way it lists Premium plans today. Choosing a pool opens the existing Add New Site form without any price: the Server Resources band stays as a free limits picker (a Tier 1–8 preset or Custom values, saved to the site's custom fields), the SSD band sets the site's quota inside the pool, and the site is created as a Rochen One Dedicated Site service on the pool's server by the Rochen One site code. It is managed from the same site pages as a shared site. There is no WHM access.
